In this practicum students will learn the basics of gamma-ray astronomy and standard data analysis procedures. They will become familiar with different types of active galactic nuclei and motivation for multi-messenger astronomical studies. Students will analyse long-term behaviour of several interesting blazars and see how they may be connected with neutrino astronomy. As this practicum requires coding, students will have an opportunity to learn how to work with several standard Python packages - Numpy, Pandas, Matplotlib, and with Jupyter notebooks.
