404 Characterization of plasma-treated surfaces by X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy (XPS)

X-Ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) is a technique used to determine the elemental composition and chemical state (among other things) of surfaces. The goal of this practical course is to use XPS in order to gain information about the changes induced in a surface due to different plasma treatments. Due to time constrictions, the samples necessary for the execution of this experiment must have been previously prepared in other plasma-related experiments. At the moment, this experiment can be combined with the following F-Praktika:

- 401 Oberflächen Modifikation mit Mikroplasmen

- 402 Anwendungsorientierte Plasmaphysik
