The Blazar J1048+7143 (alternative Name: S5 1044+71) is observed for more than a decade at different wavelengths. The gamma-ray light curve detected by Fermi-LAT shows 4 distinct double-flare structures with quiescent phases in-between. Coincident, the radio wave light curve shows a Gaussian-like single-flare structure. Using the gamma-ray light curve, a jet precession model was applied to the data, testing the hypothesis if a spin-orbit coupling of the leading jet in a supermassive binary black hole (SMBBH) at the center of this blazar could be responsible for the flaring structure.
